I've never thought about showing any of the Jewelry that I make on here. But, I guess there's always a first time.
These are hand-made carved deer bone instruments. Yes, Deer BONE...not antler, and it was a HARD task to do. I Thank whoever it was that invented the dermal tool...
The violin on the right has a carved Black Moor Goldfish on it and was going to be a box with little hinges as well as being my final in Metal-Smith & Jewelry class...my hinges were crap...So I made it into a pendent instead. It also has a real amethyst stone in there.
The Shamisen on the left was my first attempt at carving bone, and I think that one turned out to have a better quality then the violin (the violin started to crack when I put the stone in it).
